Can you remember back when film cameras were all we had, no Point and Shoot, no Digital SLR. We had 12 or 24 shots per roll of film and that was it. We spent a lot more time thinking about the shots we took, after all we only had 12 of them.
We then had to take it to the pharmacy and sent it off to be developed. We then waited in anticipation to get the prints back. When we finally got them back we showed them to all the family.
Now-a-days we have Digital, we shoot 100′s and 1000′s of photos, we now have the facilities to have photo printed instantly. We can even have our photo printed on mugs and other gifts.
And what do we do with theSE digital images, we copy them to our computers where they will remain until we accidently delete them, or our computer’s hard drive fails and we lose them all. We never print them, we never even look back on them to remember the good times we’ve had. What a shame.
That is one of the reasons I’ve taken a keen interest in photography. I still take 100′s and 1000′s of images, but now I review them as I copy them to the computer, delete the ones I don’t want and print the one I really like.
Over time I will create galleries containing some of the images that I created. You’ll find them all here.
I hope you enjoy view them
